RECRUITING INTERN

Semester: Summer 2026
Seeking a driven, analytical, creative candidate to support our recruiting processes within the fast-paced world of recruiting college/entry level construction engineers for a multibillion-dollar company.
Our recruiting roles include traditional talent acquisition activities along with select human resource responsibilities.
JOB SUMMARY:
Overall assistance with day-to-day recruiting needs that range from applicant tracking system maintenance, recruitment and employment data analysis, candidate screening process support, employee onboarding assistance, and internship program coordination.
This position reports to a senior recruiting coordinator collaborates closely with a team of recruiting coordinators and hiring managers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain recruiting reports and dashboards (Excel, PowerBi, Smartsheet, Rival ATS/Onboarding software).
- Update candidate profiles in Rival ATS including vetting stages, uploading evaluation paperwork, and organizing candidates across multiple job postings.
- Perform basic resume screening.
- Assist with planning and oversight of interview schedules.
- Data analysis of recruitment and hiring data from multiple data sources.
- Draft correspondence letters to recruits.
- Assist with employee onboarding tasks including updating candidate profiles and initiating and tracking task completion.
- Sourcing candidates on various platforms such as Rival ATS, Handshake, and LinkedIn.
- Assist with planning and executing our engineering intern program.

- Must be a person with excellent communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work well with diverse teams during team-oriented coordination.
- Ability to work amongst higher level senior management with professionalism and confidence.
- Interest in technology, improving processes, and thinking creatively are beneficial.
- Experience or interest in data analytics and research.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel or PowerBi.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems is beneficial.
EXPERIENCE:
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related business major.
Experience with at least one human resources or business-related internship or professional position is beneficial.
