Event Concierge
Principle Responsibilities:
Supervises and services all aspects of the Business Center on the conference Level according to Group Resume, Banquet Event Orders and Individual Guests requests.

Essential Functions:
- Manages, executes and promotes all available Business Center Services for all guests up to and including the use of Computer Systems (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Resort systems) in relation to Sales and Conference Services.
- Receives and follows through group information and details Via Resumes, Banquet Event Orders and account service Leaders and Directors of Conference Services, Catering and Sales.
- Directly services and manages Conference Level; in addition to service leaders and guests. This is to be done in a pro-active manner and also upon clients’ requests.
- Participates in external and internal meetings as determined by the Director of Conference Services.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to
work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort.
Regular attendance in conformance with Resort standards; which may be established by
Trump National Doral - Miami from time to time; these are essential to the success and

Due to the industry that we are in, a need will occur for each associate to provide “Lateral Service”. Our goal is to ensure that we are maximizing customer satisfaction and as result there will be times when our associates in operations will call upon us for support in order to ensure
customer satisfaction occurs. When we are fortunate enough for this to occur, each associate will positively respond unless there is a chance that an opportunity resulting in dissatisfying a guest could occur. If this is the case the leader is to be notified and the level of support that is being requested will be obtained.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following other duties, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.
- Oversees and assists in the physical movement of resort or customer equipment or furnishings as necessary to complete a tight turn-around of public function space.
• Assists customers with the set-up of their event, as needed.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Assimilate into Trump National Doral - Miami Cultural Foundation through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of the Trump Cornerstones. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
OSHA laws require the use of the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health or safety:
• Back safety belt, protective gloves and eye protection may be required on rare occasions.
Associates will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. The resort provides the required PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Leader.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
- Ability to indirectly supervise Banquet Associates.
• Ability to handle multiple customer and operational demands with a high degree ofprofessionalism, operating often with time sensitive deadlines.
• Ability to operate independently and with a high degree of autonomy requiring excellent
time management skills and self-motivation.
• Resort product and industry knowledge, i.e., staffing, operations, safety, security, structural
(Sleeping Rooms and Meeting Rooms), terminology, fire, police and health codes, resort
policies, city ordinances.
• Quantitative processing of data via Business Center office machine equipment, mathematical
computations and analytical skills necessary to accurately determine and communicate
financial, and space utilization calculations.
• Proficiency in the use and operation of computer systems with the ability to navigate
efficiently through Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Delphi, Market Vision, or Internet and
Intranet and Optimum Settings (or in house CAD program).
• Possess a good conceptual understanding of electronic devices and the ability to operate
such items as copy machines, slide projectors, microphones, computers, portable radios,
pagers, etc.
- Interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High school degree or equivalent. Bachelor degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Requires a minimum of one year experience at supervisory level in guest contact areas of the hospitality industry. Resort experience preferred. Previous experience in event planning preferred.
