Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at Freedom Behavioral Health Solutions. As an LCMFT/LMFT, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, client-centered therapy services to individuals, couples, and families seeking support and guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs, strengths, and treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic modalities and client preferences.
  • Provide ongoing individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address a range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to relationship issues, communication difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in regular supervision (for LMFT candidates), team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of best practices in the field.
  • Actively engage in outreach, networking, and community education initiatives to promote mental health awareness and expand access to services.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families in a mental health or behavioral health setting. Will consider applicants with LMFT license working towards completion of their clinical hours.
  • Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy interventions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, and inclusion in clinical practice.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
