Role Overview:
Applies civil and/or architectural engineering design knowledge, skill, and ability to create construction drawings for the project owner and provides continuous professional support throughout the entire construction process. An intern works under the close supervision of Principals, Project Managers, and Project Engineers
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of calculations using engineering skills and related computer applications.
- Accurately and timely produces design elements consistent with project requirements.
- Assists in the preparation of other documents germane to a project with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Follows established work rules, policies, and procedures
- Actively engages with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies and reduce costs
- Cooperatively takes on other duties, roles, or responsibilities as assigned
- Assist in the field with structural assessments and Investigations.
- Other general office processes and procedures and project activities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of engineering principals
- Completion of 3rd year coursework in Architectural Engineering (Structural emphasis) or Civil required
- Excellent communication skills
Travel Requirements:
- Travel is anticipated between 0-10%
