Human Resources Internship
As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various facets of human resources, assisting in key activities within specialties like talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and more. This internship offers a dynamic learning environment where you will actively contribute to supporting the HR team and enhancing the employee experience.
Throughout this internship you will gain exposure to the following areas:
Recruiting & Interview Coordination:
- Assist in organizing and scheduling interviews with candidates, including reaching out via phone or email to confirm interview times and following up after interviews.
- Ensure that candidate information is properly updated in spreadsheets and other tracking systems.
HR Support & Administrative Tasks:
- Provide administrative support to HR generalists and other HR team members, assisting with day-to-day tasks such as organizing HR files, managing employee records, and assisting with various HR projects.
- Collaborate with the HR team to write SOPs and design operational documents that improve workflows, compliance, and system usability.
- Help maintain HR documentation – digital and print – ensuring that all information is updated, accurate, and in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in any employee engagement activities and events
Onboarding & Pre-Hiring Support:
- Assist with pre-hiring processes, including preparing offer letters, drug screens, and facilitating background verification steps.
- Participate in onboarding activities, ensuring new hires have the necessary resources, documentation, and guidance to integrate smoothly into the company.

- Learn about market rate determination and assist with entry level job analysis.

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled or a recent graduate in a bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and assist with a wide range of HR functions.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar software.
- A high level of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
