Content Producer Intern

Content Producer Intern

The Content Producer Intern will play a key role in supporting our brand’s original content strategy, working closely with our founder and creative team to produce both long-form and short-form digital content. This includes podcasts, original video content, social media vertical shows, and behind-the-scenes storytelling across platforms.

This role goes beyond technical production — it’s ideal for someone who is creative, organized, and curious, with a strong interest in storytelling, culture, trends, and digital media. You’ll help shape content from idea to execution, including research, planning, production, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Content Production & Filming

  • Assist with filming, recording, and production of long-form content (podcasts, interviews, original shows)
  • Support short-form content production for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
  • Assist with camera setup, lighting, and audio for recorded or live sessions
  • Operate video switchers (ATEM Mini or similar) to manage multiple camera angles
  • Capture behind-the-scenes footage and b-roll for social and promotional use

Post-Production & Content Delivery

  • Assist with uploading finalized content to platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and social media
  • Ensure consistent branding across all content formats and platforms
  • Help organize content files, assets, and production folders

Creative Development & Research

  • Research guests, collaborators, and cultural trends relevant to our content
  • Assist with show prep, including:
  • Developing run-of-show outlines
  • Brainstorming topics and segments
  • Drafting interview questions and talking points
  • Support content planning for upcoming episodes, series, and digital drops
  • Help identify opportunities for new content formats and vertical shows

Production Support & Strategy

  • Assist with maintaining production schedules and timelines
  • Support content planning meetings and creative brainstorming sessions
  • Collaborate with the marketing and social team to align content with brand goals
  • Help track content performance insights (optional/learning-based)

Ideal Candidate

  • Passionate about digital media, content creation, and storytelling
  • Comfortable working with video equipment or eager to learn
  • Interested in podcasts, social media trends, and original programming
  • Highly organized, reliable, and proactive
  • Excited to gain hands-on experience in a creative studio environment

Qualifications

  • Basic experience with videography and editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci preferred)
  • Familiarity with camera operation, lighting, and switcher boards
  • Understanding of podcast workflow — recording, editing, and publishing
  • Strong attention to detail, creative eye for visual storytelling
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Bonus: Experience with audio mixing or podcast editing
  • Must be located in LA County , must be a LA County Resident (This will be verified)

Internship Details

  • Schedule: 10–15 hours per week, flexible to accommodate classes or other commitments.
  • Location: Hybrid—remote work plus some on-site presence in Gardena, CA.
  • Compensation: Paid internship; stipend provided.
  • Opportunity to earn academic credit if approved by your institution.
