The Role

As a Styling & Sales Associate, you serve as both a sales professional and a styling guide within our retail space. This role is ideal for interior design students or creatives seeking hands-on experience working directly with clients in a design-driven environment. You will thoughtfully assist clients in styling their homes using NOHO HOME textiles and décor, offering tailored recommendations while supporting both individual purchases and larger-scale opportunities, including trade and contract inquiries. This is a design- and sales-focused role rooted in relationship-building, aesthetic discernment, and exceptional client experience.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Guide clients through thoughtful home styling selections, from accent pieces to full-room layering
  • Translate the NOHO HOME aesthetic into personalized recommendations
  • Support trade clients and contract inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail
  • Build and maintain a personal book of business, cultivating repeat and long-term clients
  • Contribute to individual and store-wide sales goals
  • Participate in merchandising and visual storytelling throughout the store
  • Assist with in-store activations, launches, and brand events
  • Support content capture aligned with our design aesthetic
  • Maintain operational excellence in daily retail responsibilities

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Punctual and dependable with a strong sense of personal responsibility
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident in engaging clients
  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness and genuine interest in expanding knowledge of Hawaiian culture and the cultural foundations of the NOHO HOME brand
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and select holidays

 

Expected Responsibilities

  • Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled shifts
  • Maintain a welcoming, elevated, and service-driven retail environment
  • Demonstrate care and accountability in handling transactions, inventory, and client interactions
  • Actively contribute to sales goals while upholding brand integrity
  • Continuously develop product knowledge and deepen cultural understanding to authentically represent the NOHO HOME story
  • Support team initiatives, store activations, and daily operational needs with a positive, collaborative attitude
