JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re currently seeking a Probate and Trust Administration Paralegal. It is vital that this person be warm, friendly, energetic, poised and team-oriented. In this position, you will be assisting our attorneys primarily in the probate and administration of decedents’ estates, including administration of trusts. You will be preparing documents and filing documents with Surrogate’s Court. You will be meeting with clients both in person and over the telephone, and you will be dealing with courts and various financial institutions on our clients’ behalf. Some firm events are held during the evening hours and on the weekends, such as educational programs and client appreciation events. If you do not enjoy being passionately committed to your job and busy all day with a wide variety of activities, then this position is not for you. We encourage personal and professional growth, and you will have opportunity for both at our firm. Excellent word processing, spelling, grammar and spreadsheet skills required.

 

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
