Intern Job Description
General Purpose
Paid. Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8a-5p hours for summer months. In person in our Webster, NY office.

The intern will assist with administrative tasks, customer communication, record management, and compliance processes while gaining hands-on experience in credit control, collections strategy, and financial operations.
This role provides exposure to collections procedures, client account management, and regulatory compliance within a professional debt recovery environment.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Update account balances through payments, adjustments, and more
- Enter client and consumer information into databases as collected from forms, spreadsheets, and other file types.
- Review all data for errors and report unusual findings to management.
- Collect and determine completeness of information received from clients.
- Scan and upload documents received for data entry
- Process incoming mail into system of records
- Send outgoing mail as requested
- Work following privacy guidelines as dictated by state and federal law.
- File and organize paperwork used to enter data into programs to keep a record of original documents.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
