Finance Intern Job Description

Friends for Kathy Hochul is seeking finance interns to gain experience in fundraising for New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s campaign. This is an in-office position.

Finance Intern responsibilities include:

● Research prospective donors for biographical details, giving histories, and

basic contact information

● Prepare detailed briefings for scheduled fundraising meetings and events

● Prepare call sheets for the call time operation

● Opportunity to staff in-person fundraising events

● Applicant may be asked to perform other campaign-related activities

Finance Intern Qualifications:

● Previous finance/fundraising experience preferred

● A true self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented

● Ability to work both independently and within a team

● Excellent time management; ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Required systems knowledge: GoogleSheets and/or Microsoft Excel,

Google Docs and/or Microsoft Word

Compensation and benefits:

● $17 per hour
