Duration: June - August

Position Summary:
We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Seasonal Summer Camp Counselors to join our team. As a counselor, you will be directly responsible for the safety, engagement, and well-being of campers while fostering a supportive and fun environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Camper Supervision: Provide direct care and supervision for campers in your assigned group, ensuring their safety and engagement at all times.
- Activity Leadership: Facilitate daily activities, including sports, arts, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises.
- Inclusive Support: Assist campers in navigating camp activities and routines to promote independence and confidence.
- Behavioral Guidance: Model positive behavior and support campers in resolving conflicts and building relationships.
- Health and Safety: Monitor campers' well-being, report any concerns promptly, and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other counselors and staff to ensure a seamless and positive camp experience for all participants.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age by the start of the camp session.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to live on-site and commit to the full camp session.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in Education, Recreation, or related fields preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly visual impairments.
- Experience working in a camp, school, or recreational setting.
- Skills in outdoor recreation, such as kayaking, nature crafts, or campfire programs.
- Leadership experience in programs or team activities.
