AI HR Infrastructure Internship

Remote (USA) | $15/hr | 10 hrs/week minimum | Summer 2026

The Role

We’re hiring an AI + HR Infrastructure Intern to help us build AI-powered systems that codify Union’s intellectual property into scalable tools.

This internship sits at the intersection of AI, systems design, and HR infrastructure. This is not a shadowing role. This is a builder role.

 

You will help design, prototype, and ship AI tools that:

  • Improve internal delivery velocity
  • Codify Union frameworks into reusable infrastructure
  • Potentially evolve into public or monetizable tool

You should be comfortable thinking in systems, writing code, and working independently.

What You’ll Work On

  • Production-ready GPTs or AI tools like an AI-augmented Compensation Band Generator
  • Codified prompt library

Who You Are

  • Current undergrad student (CS, Engineering) or strong technical acumen required)
  • Comfortable building with ChatGPT / LLM APIs
  • Comfortable coding (Python, basic APIs, or automation tools)
  • Systems thinker
  • Can run independently without daily oversight
  • Writes clearly and structurally
  • Curious

 

  • Interest or exposure to startups, HR or application design

 

Compensation & Structure

  • $15/hour
  • 10 hours/week minimum
  • Fully remote (USA-based)
  • Flexible schedule
  • Direct exposure to real startup infrastructure work

 

If successful, this role may evolve into extended part-time work.
