Human Resources Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Intern to support our Paperless Project—an initiative to transition HR processes and records to a fully digital environment. In addition to project-specific work, this internship will provide broad exposure to core HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits administration, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in auditing and digitizing existing HR files and processes to identify paper-based workflows.
  • Collaborate with HR staff to streamline and document new digital procedures.
  • Research best practices for secure digital storage and retrieval of HR information.
  • Support HR team members with day-to-day activities such as recruiting coordination, onboarding documentation, employee events, and compliance tracking.
  • Help create user guides, training materials, and communication plans to support the paperless transition.
  • Participate in team meetings, shadow HR professionals across multiple disciplines, and provide status updates on project milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS or document management systems a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Interest in process improvement, change management, and learning about multiple areas of HR.
