Graduate Geotechnical Engineer
Chosen Valley Testing has an opening for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer. The graduate engineer will be responsible for:
- assist with various geotechnical engineering calculations, including settlement analysis, bearing capacity, pile foundations, slope stability, lateral earth pressures, and pavement designs.
- assist with analysis of soil samples and provide recommendations regarding constructability with given soil conditions.
- assist with preparing geotechnical engineering reports and construction material testing (CMT) reports to be reviewed by a licensed Professional Engineer.
- assist with preparing cost estimates and proposals for various geotechnical engineering projects within a particular territory.
- assisting the construction materials testing (CMT) department with soil and concrete testing and inspections, both in the field and in the lab.
- aid in business development and marketing of the company's services.
