Pet Care Attendant
Brand new Pet Resort opening in March.
We are seeking a passionate, reliable Pet Care Attendant to join our team at our premier pet boarding and daycare facility. If you love cats and dogs, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy providing top-notch care, this is the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for boarding and daycare dogs, including feeding, fresh water, exercise, and playtime supervision
- Monitor pets for signs of illness, stress, or injury and report any concerns promptly
- Supervise safe, fun group play in daycare areas while maintaining positive interactions and group dynamics
- Clean and disinfect pet housing, play areas, and facility spaces daily (scooping, hosing, laundry, etc.)
- Walk dogs, provide bathroom breaks, and offer individual attention as needed
- Assist with bathing, basic grooming, and administering medications (per instructions)
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all pets
- Interact positively with pet owners during drop-off/pick-up when required
Requirements:
- Genuine love for dogs and cats, and comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Previous experience in pet care, boarding, daycare, or kennel work preferred (but willing to train the right person!)
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, and handle cleaning duties
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays (shifts may include early mornings/evenings)
