Intern, Software Development
Overview
Waters Corporation is currently seeking a Full Stack Software Developer Intern to join our organization in Milford Global HQ. In this role you will join an agile team focused on developing our next generation Empower data systems and data collaboration software Apps for a cloud computing environment with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain software for server-side logic and frontend user interface
- Implement unit and system tests for new and existing functionality. Collaborate with automation engineers to generate automated system tests
- Investigate, diagnose and troubleshoot applications and system problems
- Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to take on multiple tasks as needed on the frontend, backend, or system level
Qualifications
- Working towards or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a STEM, Software Engineering or related field
- Frontend development experience using Angular
- Server technology development with Microsoft stack: C#, .NET Core and Object-Oriented Design
- Good understanding of multi-threading & async programming
- AWS Cloud Experience. Docker, Containers and Microservices
