Marketing Summer Intern

Job Summary: 

As a Marketing Summer Intern, you will work closely across our marketing team to support the development of healthcare provider peer-to-peer disease education and evaluate the payor coverage landscape for a recently launched product. This role provides valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and exposure to marketing strategies that drive business growth. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the development and execution of disease education programs to establish new treatment paradigms in rare disease. 
  • Engage with cross-functional teams including sales and medical affairs to gather insights and align on marketing strategies 
  • Support the team by monitoring and analyzing payor market trends, competitive activities, and understanding customer needs to support decision-making 
  • Assist in analyzing the payor coverage landscape for a newly launched product providing an overview of the access landscape 
  • Participate in team meetings, providing updates on assigned tasks and projects 

 

Requirements

 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in business or life sciences, or a PharmD program 
  • Strong interest in pharmaceutical commercial strategy and brand management 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders 
  • Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task 
  • Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

 

This internship will pay $26-39/hr depending on your years of education completed.
