Social Media & Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)

Role Description

This is a part-time, remote internship role for a Social Media & Marketing Intern (Summer 2026). This is 10 hours/week for 10 weeks (June 1 - Aug 7, 2026) paying a $1,500 stipend ($15/hour). Hours are flexible. Responsibilities include setting up a social media platform, assisting in planning and managing social media campaigns, creating engaging social media and digital content, scheduling and publishing posts, and tracking and analyzing campaign performance. The intern will also collaborate with the Executive Director and other team members for additional marketing responsibilities including creating news releases, updating of websites, etc.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation
  • Experience with Digital Marketing and Marketing strategies
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Creativity and ability to develop engaging content for diverse audiences
  • Interest and passion for supporting diversity and educational initiatives, specifically Hispanic/Latino community
  • Basic knowledge of analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or social media insights, is a plus
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant field of study such as Marketing, Communications, or Business
  • Fluent Spanish speaking and writing preferred
