Engineering Intern
MilliporeSigma is growing at the Danvers and is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to the team! In this role you will primarily be working with a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians to support the manufacturing floor.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, quality, and production operators
- Support evaluation of all activities within a work cell and apply knowledge to resolve problems quickly
- Proactively support development and improvements of manufacturing processes by studying the product and production methods and work with a team of engineers to drive efficiency into daily activity
- Support production floor issues by working with the manufacturing team and applying Root Cause Analysis logic as needed to determine the best path forward in a timely manner
- Read and work from written/verbal instructions, specifications, technical manuals, and engineering sketches
- Support company policies and procedures, goals, and objectives
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications:
- An interest in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or Quality in a medical, biotechnology, Bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Problem-solving skills
- Work with a sense of responsibility, vitality, and high energy with positive behavior
- Capable of working on multiple tasks, meet established due dates, and demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Skills to grasp modern technology quickly
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal
