Teacher - Construction

POSITION TITLE:   Teacher - Construction, CTAE for the 2026-2027 School Year

LOCATION: Cass HS

START DATE:  July 27, 2026

JOB DESCRIPTION:   Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students in the classroom. Plan and implement effective lessons, using time, materials and resources effectively. Display a thorough knowledge computer science curriculum. Demonstrate awareness of the needs of students and provide for individual differences. Support the philosophy and mission of the Bartow County School System. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING:  Must hold a valid clear renewable or be able to obtain a Georgia teaching certificate in one of the following: Construction, Trade & Industrial Education (6-12).   Two years of industry experience and industry licensure are part of the minimum requirements for obtaining a provisional or permit for the Construction certificate. 

SKILLS:   Ability and knowledge to effectively teach at the high school level.

EXPERIENCE:  Previous teaching experience preferred, not required.
