Database Administrator
American Land Title Association (ALTA), founded in 1907 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is the national trade association and voice of title insurance and settlement agents, real estate attorneys, abstracters, and underwriters. Our members range from small, one-county operations to large national title insurers that conduct title searches, examinations, closings, and issue title insurance that protects real property owners and mortgage lenders against losses from defects in titles.
We are in search of talented candidates for our Database Administrator and Integrations Manager. Will be responsible for ALTA’s data architecture and applications, including AMS software and data, ALTA’s comprehensive data warehouse combining AMS data with third-party data, and all third-party data integrations. Contributes to brainstorming solutions requirements and development of specifications for web-based data collection features, data repositories, query-based outputs, visual displays, and search features for the ALTA website, data warehouse site, and multiple WordPress microsites. Confirms the success of daily stored procedures and is accountable for resolving exceptions including alerting the appropriate vendors and consultants.
Successful candidates will have three years hands-on business analysis and development specifications writing; experience with database administration, managing relational database systems, Association Management Software (AMS) or CRM products with eCommerce capabilities, and financial software system integration; knowledgeable about web domains, domain registration, secure socket layer certificates, and site security verification certification; excellent verbal and written communication skills for success with vendor relationships, project management, team communication (including hybrid workforce communication).
