Fitness Program Assistant

Fitness Program Assistant

Responsibilities:

The Fitness Program Assistant is a part-time, low-hours position designed to support the daily operations of the fitness program. This role assists the Coordinator of Fitness and provides administrative, scheduling, and staff support where needed. The Fitness Program Manager serves as a key point of contact for instructors when the coordinator is out of office, helps ensure program systems run smoothly, and supports the overall quality and consistency of fitness programming.

Qualifications:

- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) or Group Fitness Instructor (GFI)
- 2 years of customer service
- Have a basic knowledge and understanding of human anatomy
- Previous experience with Box, Excel, and Word documents

Work Environment:

- Be able to move 75lbs comfortably 
- Maintain high accuracy and consistency in Fusion data entry and attendance tracking.
- Communicate proactively and professionally with staff and leadership.
- Be dependable, organized, and responsive as the primary program contact.
- Uphold program standards and ensure compliance with attendance and grading requirements.
- Demonstrate initiative in identifying scheduling issues, low attendance trends, or training needs.
- Support a positive, well-organized, and inclusive fitness environment for both staff and participants.
