Job Title: Junior Data Engineer

Location: Des Moines, IA

Duration: 12-15 months (Possibilities of extension)

 

Overview:

Quintrix is on the lookout for professionals who are open to upskill to the exciting world of Data Engineering. This opportunity is for our direct client in Banking/financial Services and includes a 4 week Instructor-led online pre-employment training program (15 hours per week), conveniently scheduled after business hours. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a $500 stipend. This is a fantastic chance to gain in demand skills, hands-on experience, and a pathway into a dynamic tech role.

 

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience Python, Spark, SQL, etc.
  • Familiar with ETL/ELT concepts and database concepts.
  • Exposure to GCP, BigQuery.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD for data engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

 

Selection Process & Training: 

  • Online assessment and technical interview by Quintrix.
  • Client Interview(s). 
  • 4 weeks of pre-employment online instructor-led training. 

 

Stipend paid during Training: 

  • $500.
