Systems Engineering Intern (Magnetics Design)

As a Magnetics Design Engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to work with exciting magnetic sensor technologies for high-precision position sensing and current sensing applications. You will design, model, implement and document sensor components and systems. Some of your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: - Electromagnetic modeling to evaluate different sensor technologies and architectures - Driving analytical models to optimize the performance of sensor components and systems - Partnering with business teams and system engineering to develop mutually agreeable design specifications - Providing high-level analysis on sensor architecture trade-offs to ensure spec compliance and superior performance at a competitive cost - Participating in design reviews and creating the necessary design and product documentation Put your talent to work with us as a Magnetics Design Engineering intern – change the world, love your job! . Minimum Requirements: - Currently pursuing PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) or Physics - Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher Preferred Qualifications: - Extensive experience with magnetic materials and devices - Solid understanding of the design, manufacturing and optimization of magnetic sensors - Proficiency in multiphysics FEM modeling (e.g. ANSYS, COMSOL) - Proficiency in signal processing tools (e.g. Matlab, Python) - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions - Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery - Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
