Travel Content Creator

The Role

Soar is looking for a travel content creator to help build the public face of the company.

This is not just an editing role. You'll be filming and publishing daily short-form travel content, appearing on camera, and working closely with the founder to shape Soar's voice and social presence across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms.

Ideally, you're already out in the world, traveling, studying abroad, or living somewhere new, and naturally capturing the kind of moments and places that make people want to explore.

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish daily short-form videos (TikTok / Instagram Reels)
  • Be on camera and become a recognizable face of Soar
  • Film and edit travel content from wherever you are
  • Collaborate directly with the founder on content ideas, hooks, and formats
  • Manage posting cadence, captions, and basic community engagement
  • Track performance and iterate on what's working
  • Test trends, sounds, and formats without chasing gimmicks

Compensation

Phase 1: Trial (30 to 60 days)

  • $40 to $60 per video
  • Performance bonuses tied to reach / virality
  • Clear expectations around posting frequency and output

Phase 2: Long-Term (if it's a fit)

  • Monthly stipend ($2,000 to $3,000)
  • Equity: ~0.25% to 0.75% (vesting)
  • Performance bonuses
  • Opportunity to grow into a content or social leadership role

Requirements

  • Currently traveling, studying abroad, or actively exploring new places
  • Strong short-form video creation and editing skills
  • Natural on-camera presence (or strong desire to build one)
  • Deep intuition for TikTok, Instagram, and internet culture
  • Strong editorial judgment; you know what to cut, highlight, or simplify
  • Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable moving fast
  • Genuine interest in travel and culture; not influencer-first, not overly polished

Bonus
