Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end onboarding process for new interns and team members to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience.
- Assist with preparing onboarding materials (welcome packets, checklists, role guides, training schedules, and internal resources).
- Coordinate onboarding logistics such as scheduling introductory meetings, team welcomes, and required trainings.
- Help track onboarding progress, completion of required steps, and follow-ups using internal tools (spreadsheets, project boards, ATS, etc.).
- Communicate with new hires prior to start dates to confirm availability, paperwork needs, and first-week expectations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT/Tech, Marketing, HR) to ensure new hires have appropriate access and resources.
- Collect feedback from new hires and managers to improve onboarding workflows and documentation.
- Support additional HR/People Ops projects as needed (engagement initiatives, documentation updates, intern support).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Communications, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable communicating professionally via email, chat, and video calls in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow process steps accurately.
- Coachable, adaptable, and comfortable working with feedback and iterative improvements.
Weekly Scheduled Meeting Times (1 hour meetings)
- Monday: 1pm Est, 5pm EST
- Tuesday: 11am EST
- Wednesdays: 11am EST
- Fridays: 11am EST, 1pm EST
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with onboarding, recruiting, HR operations, or employee experience concepts.
- Experience using tools such as Google Workspace
- Strong writing skills for creating clear onboarding guides and internal documentation.
- Interest in consulting, people operations, talent development, or organizational effectiveness.
- Experience supporting teams across different time zones and fast-moving environments.
