Music Teacher

Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, joyful, Music Teacher to inspire a love of music in students grades PK–8. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, classroom environment that fosters creativity, musical skill development, and appreciation for diverse musical styles.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate music lessons aligned with state standards

Teach foundational music skills including rhythm, melody, singing, movement, and basic instruments

Organize and direct student performances and school music programs

Assess student progress and communicate effectively with families and staff

Collaborate with teachers and administration to support school-wide initiatives

Coordinate School Church Choir

Coordinate participation in district and state choir festivals

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field

Valid state teaching certification (or eligibility)

Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred

Strong classroom management and communication skills
