Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our Nashville office for a hands-on, in-person internship supporting our in-house Marketing Manager. You’ll work on real projects, not just observe, supporting branding initiatives, content calendars, proposals, and research that directly contribute to CSDG’s marketing efforts and continued firm growth.

This internship is ideal for students who are curious about marketing within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry and want to understand how design firms position themselves, pursue new work, and build long-term client relationships. You’ll support a wide range of marketing efforts across branding, content, digital marketing, proposals, research, and business development, making this a well-rounded opportunity for a driven, hands-on intern who’s excited to grow their skills and explore where their interests align within marketing.

What You’ll Work On & Take Away with You:

  • Support the Marketing Manager with brand strategy and firmwide initiatives, gaining insight into how brand strategy is developed and executed
  • Assist with planning content calendars and supporting social media content creation to build hands-on content marketing experience
  • Contribute to proposal development and graphic design for pursuit-related materials, learning how design firms pursue new work
  • Support CRM data entry and organization to understand how marketing, business development, and client data are connected
  • Assist with website updates, SEO support, and content edits to strengthen digital marketing skills
  • Help organize and maintain brand assets, templates, and project information to reinforce brand consistency
  • Support graphic design, photo organization, and basic image editing as needed, building experience managing visual content
  • Conduct market and competitive research to support firm growth and expansion into new markets
  • Participate in business development and networking opportunities, including industry events
  • Collaborate with other firm interns on a final capstone project presented to the CSDG leadership team

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram, including posting or supporting content creation
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, with InDesign preferred
  • Interest or experience in graphic design and visual content creation
  • Webflow experience is a plus
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong interest in marketing, branding, and business development
  • Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working in person, collaborating with a team, and participating in professional conversations

Internship Details:

  • Location: Nashville, TN
  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours) summer internship
  • Compensation: Paid internship (rate based on experience & academic level). Interns not eligible for company benefits.
  • Duration: Mid-May through July 2026, with flexibility to accommodate academic schedules
