Client Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the timely and accurate processing of information while serving as a liaison between departments and external clients.
  • Support new customer activations by coordinating timelines, training, and communication.
  • Coach clients on file formatting, submission procedures, and reporting standards.
  • Process and analyze large data sets to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Assist clients with account access issues, file errors, and general onboarding support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within Salesforce ServiceCloud.
  • Communicate updates, progress, and issues effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in department meetings, trainings, and cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborate with the Audit Resource Center and other internal teams on escalations or process improvements.
  • Provide excellent customer service through phone and email communications, ensuring timely and professional follow-up.
  • Adapt to evolving processes and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Some college required; bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Law coursework highly desired).
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience in customer service, account management, or client support.
  • Experience in the higher education or student loan industry is preferred.
  • Background working with data management or reviewing and analyzing large data volumes.
  • Exposure to Salesforce ServiceCloud or other CRM platforms.
  • Experience working in a law firm or with compliance/regulatory documents a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply complex compliance and regulatory information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and active listening abilities.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to change.
  • Poised, professional, and dependable in both independent and team environments.

$14-15/hr
