Communications-Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design Internship

Examples of Duties:

Job Duties:  Perform a variety of communication and public relations tasks, such as, but not limited to, creating and updating District graphic design elements, message creation, developing and implementing project schedules, photography, graphic design, video production, scanning and archiving files, coordinating events, interaction with customers and the general public, and correspondence with partner organizations and agencies. This position will report to TID’s 333 E. Canal office in Turlock, CA.

Specific tasks:
 

  • Capture, edit & produce photography and video content.
  • Design and update various print and digital materials, including fact sheets, reports, and newsletters.
  • Messaging Monitor program – create graphics & messaging for internal and external customers
  • Tracking social media analytics on TID digital marketing efforts
  • Community Event coordination – preparation, coordination & staffing of TID booth for community events, school presentations, and other after hours and weekend events
  • Provide event support for various Communications and District programs
  • Internal Communications efforts including the HR Seity program, TID Connected, and IT updates
  • Building out brand assets in Canva
  • Review, sort, and archive photos and videos.


Desired Skills: Functional knowledge in some combination of the following: Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, and Canva.
