This position at April Housing is a full-time, paid Preservation Intern within the Preservation team, based in Los Angeles, CA (hybrid). It’s for students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or other relevant undergraduate degree and takes place during Summer 2026. Interns will support underwriting and pro forma analysis for preservation and rehabilitation projects, assist with due diligence and deal tracking, and help prepare applications for tax-exempt bonds and low-income housing tax credits. This role provides hands-on experience in affordable housing development and preservation finance within a real estate asset management and affordable housing organization and is ideal for students interested in real estate development, housing policy, finance, or urban planning.
