Design Studio Intern

CeCe Barfield Inc. is seeking summer interns to join our studio from June through August 2026. This opportunity is intended for interior design or architecture students entering at least their third year of undergraduate study or currently enrolled in a graduate program.

Interns will work alongside our design team and be involved in the daily rhythm of the studio, supporting projects through tasks such as sample management, drafting, sourcing assistance, and general studio organization. We are looking for thoughtful, detail-oriented individuals who are curious about the design process and eager to contribute in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace

Strong communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks with care and precision

A positive, proactive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for design

This is a paid position and includes a daily lunch stipend. Studio hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM–5:30 PM, and Friday, 9:30 AM–1:00 PM.
