The Department of Social Services is currently offering an outstanding career opportunity for experienced, driven information technology professionals who would like to further their career as an Information Technology Division Manager. This position requires knowledge of social services programs, the ability to lead and complete deliverables through a team of professional technology staff, and an ability to understand and communicate technology needs of program staff.
The Information Technology Division Manager, reporting to a Deputy Director, is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of division programs, policies, and procedures, and managing and supervising the staff and activities of the Information Technology Division. These activities include: state-wide system support and maintenance; development and implementation of ancillary solutions to support program service delivery and management of workload; data analytics and reporting; ensure security of global applications, infrastructure and data; design, configuration and maintenance of operating system software for server, storage, and workstation products and services; asset inventory; and software compliance. This is an in-office position.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system..
Experience: Three (3) years of full-time, paid supervisory or managerial work experience over information technology staff in an information technology environment..
Substitution: Possession of a master's degree that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.
License: Possession of a valid Class "C" driver's license, or equivalent, may be required.
Other: As a condition of employment, selected candidates will be required to undergo and pass a background investigation, which may include a Live Scan..
