Location: Bronson Battle Creek
Schedule: Full-Time | First Shift | 36 hours per week

Bronson Battle Creek is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy hands-on patient care, collaboration, and helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence.

You will work with patients experiencing orthopedic, neurologic, and musculoskeletal conditions in a supportive outpatient setting focused on improving function and overall quality of life.

Role Overview

This role provides outpatient rehabilitation services designed to help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, and return to their daily activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver individualized therapy services based on patient needs and treatment goals
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Participate in department initiatives and quality improvement efforts

Additional Responsibilities

Physical Therapist (PT)

• Perform patient evaluations and interpret physician referrals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Establish functional baselines and track patient progress
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, students, and rehab support staff when applicable
• Participate in program development, process improvement, and clinical education initiatives

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

• Provide therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Carry out established plans of care and therapeutic interventions
• Support patients during individual or group therapy sessions
• Collaborate with the care team to support patient progress and recovery

Qualifications

Physical Therapist

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire

Physical Therapist Assistant

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Michigan
• Previous PTA experience preferred
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
