Social Impact Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY:
Westmoreland Community Action (WCA) is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Social Impact Coordinator to join its development team. In this role, the Social Impact Coordinator will collaborate across agency teams to gather data, conduct research, and produce reports to share program insights with WCA leaders, community partners, and program funders. Core responsibilities include monitoring and supporting staff use of WCA’s central database system and developing timely program reports and proposals in compliance with various regulatory requirements and funding sources. The Social Impact Coordinator will also assist in conducting research and gathering stakeholder input for community needs assessments, presentations, fact sheets, and other materials as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Collaborates with agency staff to ensure accurate data intake and entry into the agency's data and client management systems.
· Leads the data reporting processes to comply with various program regulations and funding requirements.
· Develops training materials, fact sheets, presentations, and dashboards to engage staff and enhance the agency's capacity in data management.
· Assists in creating and conducting regular needs assessments and surveys to identify population characteristics and service gaps.
· Supports the development of grant proposals and pitch materials to secure new funding from foundations and corporate networks.
· Assists in the regular evaluation of agency programs and services, supporting the strategic planning and continuous quality improvement process.
· Monitor data systems and management processes to ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency policies regarding data privacy and cybersecurity.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Social Impact Director.
Westmoreland Community Action is a non-profit organization that works to connect individuals and families to opportunities and resources throughout the community to improve their quality of life and help to reduce poverty in the community. This is accomplished through housing, counseling, support, education, intervention, collaborations, partnerships, information, referrals, and networking.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in data science, public administration, human services, social sciences, or other related field (preferred but not required).
· One to three (1-3) years of relevant work experience or volunteer experience in a nonprofit or human services environment.
· Excellent project management, research, and analytical skills.
· Prior experience with or interest in learning database systems and adapting to new technologies.
· Familiarity or an interest in learning data visualization programs (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Domo, advanced Excel).
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Familiarity with state and federal reporting requirements in the nonprofit or public sector is a plus.
· Ability to work efficiently and complete assignments within strict deadlines.
· Acts 33, 34, 114, and sex offender registry clearances.
· Valid PA driver’s license, mandated Agency auto insurance coverage, and reasonably clean driving record.

Attention span: Able to attend to tasks for more than 60 minutes.
Conceptualization: Able to understand and relate to concepts behind crisis and housing support services.
Memory: Able to recall multiple tasks and assignments over extended periods.
Environmental Conditions: Primarily indoor work in an office setting.
Salary Description
$20.37 to $22.30 Hourly
