Immigration Case Manager

Position Title: Immigration Case Manager

Department: Immigration Program

Location: West Rogers Park

Job Type: Full-Time

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct community outreach regarding immigration legal services
  • Communicate with clients to coordinate intake and document collection
  • Assist with the preparation of immigration forms per established procedures
  • Maintain client files with all client interactions, case developments, and appropriate documentation
  • Prepare reports for grantors or funding agencies in a timely manner
  • Manage Immigration calendar and all client appointments

 

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Language fluency strongly preferred: Burmese, Rohingya, Swahili, Kinyarwanda or Arabic 
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the field of Immigration Legal Services preferred
  • Experience in Salesforce preferred 
  • Proficiency in E-immigration software and other relevant legal software preferred
  • Strong understanding of immigration laws and procedures
  • Must be highly organized and proficient in creating strong interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to maintain and promote confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Must have strong computer skills including: Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and Teams)
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and exhibit attention to detail
  • Experience working with individuals and groups from diverse communities

 

Compensation Package: The base annual salary range for this role is $47,000-$48,500 commensurate with education and experience. A generous benefits package is offered with full-time employment.
