Full Time Summer Internship

UMC is currently seeking a Marketing Summer Intern for our Bristol Glen Senior Care Community located in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is thoughtfully designed to provide person directed care in a home-like environment to ensure exceptional care and quality of life for our residents.

Requirements for a Marketing Intern:

  • Current enrollment in a college degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proactive desire to go above and beyond role requirements.
  • Prior collaboration or personal project management experience.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and industry trends.
  • Proven aptitude in seeking creative solutions to multi-faceted challenges.
  • Ability to influence, inspire, and lead from any role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities for a Marketing Intern:

  • Support teams to plan, develop, and execute marketing initiatives.
  • Complete projects related to content creation.
  • Assist management with the preparation of campaigns and reports.
  • Handle inbound requests from vendors, brokers, partners, customers, and clients.
  • Perform competitive market analysis to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Create content for our internal social media platform.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of events.
  • Generate innovative ideas and contribute to the development of engaging content for Facebook.
  • Support the team with administrative tasks.
  • Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • A summer project will be assigned to the intern that will benefit the organization and culminate with a special presentation to leadership.
