Extended Campus Graphic Design Intern

The UAx Extended Campus Graphic Design Intern will perform various tasks to support marketing and website projects for UAkron Online and Continuing Education offerings. This will include projects in web content updating, print advertising, digital advertising, and social media campaigns. The intern may be requested to assist with greeting customers, answering phones, entering data, and preparing course documents.

Our office is small, and we need a person with a great positive attitude that possesses excellent communication skills (speaking and listening). We are looking for a person who will be engaged in daily activities and is dependable with strong customer service skills and takes critique well and is self-directed.

Familiarity with the full Adobe Suite is required. Familiarity with dotCMS or another web content management system is a plus. Microsoft 365 software knowledge is a plus. 

Preference will be given to Graphic Design, Marketing, and Communication undergraduate students.

Most work will take place in our offices on the fourth floor of the Polsky Building. Some flexibility with remote work once training is complete.
