Fall 2026/Spring 2027 - Lafayette Votes Student Leadership Team Social Media/Graphic Design Position

Landis Center, Lafayette College Campus

Job description/ Desired skills and/or additional qualifications:

• Create social media posts and stories promoting various Lafayette Votes events 
• Create Instagram posts and stories that clearly highlight upcoming election deadlines, including primary registration deadlines, primary Election Day, general election registration deadlines, and the November general Election Day.
• Create social media posts showcasing each and every candidate running in elections to be voted on by Lafayette Students (U.S. House, U.S. Senate, Pennsylvania Gov, Pennsylvania State House, Pennsylvania State Senate, Pennsylvania SCOTUS, Superior Court, and Commonwealth Court elections, Northampton County local elections, Easton local elections, etc.) 
• Promote events that Lafayette Votes! co-sponsors.
• Reach out to other student organizations to make collaborative events
• Attend leadership and general body meetings
• Respond to social media messages addressed to the @lafayettevotes Instagram account
• Must be experienced in Canva, Google Workspace

  
Hours per week:  1-5 hours /week

This is a position for the 2026/2027 academic year with training beginning in the spring 2026.  

Required work schedule  

• Attend weekly hour-long Leadership Meetings
• Attend periodic Lafayette Votes events
• Other hours flexible

Start date:

Leadership Training/Transition to start ASAP;  Official Position begins Fall 2026
