Investment Team Intern

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill an internship role as part of the investment team. This individual will begin working in the Summer of 2025 after the end of the Spring semester and this role will be 40 hours per week before concluding at the start of the Autumn semester. 

The primary expectation of the intern role will be to enhance our processes by partnering with other team members to advance specific team projects while also picking up some basic tasks freeing up the research staff’s time and capacity. This may include writing notes from research meetings, conducting analysis on portfolios, investment managers and investment strategies and preparing or enhancing presentation materials for use internally and with external clients. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain work experience in the investment industry while watching experienced investors source ideas and manage portfolios.
 

Primary Responsibilities

• Leveraging research staff through:
  • Attending and writing notes from research meetings 
  • Assisting in investment analysis
  • Creating or enhancing presentation materials
• Working on special projects which may include:
  • Additional efficiency projects using cloud-based platforms
  • Working on enhancing existing processes through technology solutions
• Sourcing and compiling performance & descriptive data from current and prospective investment managers

The prospective candidate should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in finance, economics, or a related discipline. In addition, we are looking for candidates with the following qualities.

• 3.0 GPA or better preferred
• Demonstrated record of achievement
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Technical skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Excel, Co-Pilot and PowerPoint.
