Job Overview

The Production Supervisor Trainee will work under the guidance of a Production Supervisor to learn to essential duties of supervisor manufacturing processes. This position is designed for career growth and development, with the opportunity for promotion to a Production Supervisor role upon successful completion of training.

Responsibilities

• Motivating and Directing employees to ensure compliance with production and quality goals, safety polices, and company rules.
• Coordinating maintenance repair work and ensuring equipment is kept in proper working condition.
• Using problem solving and critical thinking techniques to improve process and safety issues.
• Organizing production schedules to ensure the maximum utilization of equipment and personnel.
• Production inventory accuracy, periodic physical counts, and adjustment requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology, Business Administration or Management related fields.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team
• Computer proficiency (particularly with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Robotics desirable.
