Job Summary
Grady Health System is excited to recruit for the 2026 Healthcare Business Internship Program (HBIP), a 9-week, paid internship program offering valuable experience in Accounting, Engineering, Finance, IT, Public Safety, Revenue Cycle, and Supply Chain. We're seeking motivated undergraduate students interested in gaining hands-on experience in the healthcare industry. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside professionals in a dynamic healthcare setting, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop valuable skills that will prepare you for a career in healthcare. This will be a 9-week, paid internship program offering valuable experience in Accounting, Engineering, Finance, HR, IT, Public Safety, Revenue Cycle, and Supply Chain.

• Engineering: Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of Grady’s infrastructure. Learn about systems design, project management, and facilities operations in a hospital setting
• Human Resources (HR): Participate in recruitment, employee engagement, and training initiatives. Learn the fundamentals of HR operations and contribute to building a thriving workplace culture.
• Information Technology (IT): Work on cutting-edge technology projects, such as system implementation, cybersecurity and data management. Support Grady’s mission by enhancing the efficiency of its tech-driven healthcare solutions
• Revenue Cycle: Support billing, coding, and collections teams to ensure efficient revenue generation. Gain insight into the financial backbone of healthcare operations.
• Supply Chain: Assist in inventory management, procurement, and logistics to ensure the seamless delivery of medical supplies and equipment essentials to patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with day-to-day operations
• Collaborate on various projects, research, and data analysis for the Grady Health System
• Shadow professionals to gain an understanding of hospital operations and healthcare management
• Attend departmental meetings, contribute ideas for improvement, perform other duties as assigned by your department manager
• Participate in facility tours and leadership meetings throughout the program
• Final/Summary presentation at end of internship
QUALIFICATIONS
• Current enrolled undergraduate student at accredited universities with a preference for Historical Black Colleges and Universities
• Demonstrated academic excellence (3.2 GPA or higher)
• Ability to commit to 40 per week for the duration of the internship
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Hybrid position; must be prepared to spend days in the office
