Design Quote Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

The Design Quote Specialist provides design, drawing, and quoting services for a division and specific products with a focus on accuracy and quality. Performs work under minimal supervision and applies advanced drawing and project management skills while supporting customer-facing design interactions.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

Provides design, drawing, and quotes with minimal errors for a division and specific products

Applies architectural, design validation, building codes, ADA, and bid knowledge

Utilizes advanced drawing skills to develop detailed layouts and designs

Demonstrates proven project management skills to manage timelines and deliverables

Leads/conducts live design sessions with architects, designers, executives, and decision-makers

SECONDARY DUTIES:

Supports and implements MPS principles and theme work

Collaborates with cross-functional Midmark teams, as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associate degree in design, architecture, or related field and 2–4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPETENCY and/or SKILL:

Solid working knowledge of architectural and design standards

Advanced drawing and design software proficiency

Solid working knowledge of building codes, ADA, and bid requirements

Ability to manage multiple projects independently
