Civil Engineer EIT
Description:
A small but rapidly growing civil, environmental, and transportation engineering firm with offices in Perry, Mansfield,, Roswell and Brunswick, Georgia has a unique opportunity for a highly motivated EIT with water/wastewater/stormwater/transportation planning and design skills. The successful candidate will use your technical abilities to plan and design water and wastewater treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems, water supply and transmission systems and related appurtenances, stormwater management and conveyance systems, and transportation infrastructure in a dynamic design team setting.
Responsibilities Include:
- Wastewater collection, water distribution, and stormwater hydraulic modeling
- Wastewater, water, stormwater system planning and design
- Prepare economic analysis for civil infrastructure projects
- Planning, design, operations, and management of transportation infrastructure
- Traffic operations and design
- Preparation of construction specifications and associated documents
- Research issues related to wastewater and water resources that impact individual projects
- Ensure that projects’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will:
- Be registered as an Engineer-in-Training in Georgia
- Have a minimum of two years of experience in water, wastewater, stormwater or transportation planning or design
- Can work in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Must have a current and valid driver license
- Must have adequate transportation to work
- Must always adhere to safety procedures/guidelines
