Strategy and Operations Manager
We are hiring a Strategy & Operations Manager to report directly to our VP of Operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real responsibility early, enjoys taking open-ended problems and driving them to resolution, and is excited to help build the operational backbone of a growing platform. This is a cross-functional role for a collaborative operator who thrives in fast-moving environments and can influence outcomes across the organization.
This role is ideal for a self-starter with 2–3 years of experience in investment banking (or a similarly rigorous environment) who is looking to apply strong analytical and execution skills in an operating role. You do not need prior insurance experience, but you must be curious, adaptable, and eager to learn a new industry. At Vivere, operators are builders. You will have direct exposure to senior leadership, meaningful ownership over core processes, and the opportunity to grow with the business.
What You’ll Do
• Support the VP of Operations in building, scaling, and refining Vivere’s core operational processes
• Own day-to-day operational workflows across underwriting support, reporting, partner coordination, and internal systems
• Analyze data and performance metrics to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement, including analyzing new vertical opportunities for Vivere
• Help design and implement tools, automations, and documentation that improve efficiency and accuracy
• Coordinate cross-functionally with underwriting, technology, finance, and external partners
• Take on ambiguous projects, figure out what needs to be done, and drive them to completion
• Act as a trusted problem-solver in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment
What You Bring
• 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or a similarly analytical, execution-oriented role
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, financial models, and operational metrics
• AI proficiency: experience and willingness to use and/or discover various AI tools to drive productivity and deliver value faster
• A willingness to roll up your sleeves and do the work, and you love building from the ground up
• Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in learning the insurance business. Prior insurance experience is not required but is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, paired with the ability to think holistically about systems and processes
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• A growth mindset, strong work ethic, and bias toward ownership and accountability
