Education Communications and Outreach Intern (Rolling Applications)
We are seeking a motivated and creative Education Communications & Outreach Intern for a structured, learning-focused internship experience. This is an unpaid internship offered exclusively for academic credit. Interns must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and registered for an internship, practicum, or independent study course (credit or zero-credit) for the duration of the internship.

Internship Structure & Time Commitment
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling aligned with the student’s academic calendar
- Fully remote and can be asynchronous, with scheduled mentorship check-ins
- Internship dates determined in coordination with the student and academic program
This internship complements academic coursework and is intended to provide practical experience related to the student’s field of study.
Educational Focus Areas
Depending on the student’s major and learning goals, the internship may include (for example purposes only):
For Education Majors:
- Translating lesson-planning principles into engaging blog content
- Analyzing curriculum trends and instructional strategies
- Writing age-appropriate, standards-aligned educational content
For Business, Marketing, or Entrepreneurship Majors:
- Learning foundational digital marketing strategies
- Observing brand positioning and audience research methods
- Assisting with ethical lead generation and partnership research
For Communications or Writing Majors:
- Developing blog articles for educator audiences
- Practicing SEO fundamentals and audience-centered writing
- Editing and revising content based on structured feedback
Learning Activities & Responsibilities
Interns will receive guided instruction and mentorship while participating in:
- Content Development: Researching and drafting blog posts with structured editorial feedback
- Content Strategy Exposure: Participating in discussions about seasonal planning and audience engagement
- Research Projects: Conducting market or education-related research and presenting findings
- Professional Skill Building: Practicing communication, organization, and deadline management in a real-world setting
Mentorship & Supervision
Interns will receive:
- Ongoing supervision and mentorship from the founder
- Constructive written and verbal feedback
- Guidance on professional communication and content development
- Opportunities for reflection connecting internship tasks to academic learning objectives
- The internship environment is collaborative and designed to encourage questions, experimentation, and skill development.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled college or university student
- Eligible to receive academic credit for the internship
- Strong written communication skills
- Interest in education, entrepreneurship, or digital communications
- Organized, proactive, and open to feedback
- Familiarity with Google Workspace preferred
- Interest in learning SEO and digital publishing principles
- Prior professional experience is preferred but not required
