A boutique PR agency and recognized leader in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries is seeking a talented Publicist to join our team. One year of agency experience or a PR internship is preferred; however, we will also consider candidates with exceptional creative writing skills, a strong work ethic, and a genuine eagerness to learn. Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, or related fields

Experience in the hospitality industry (restaurants, chefs, hotels) a plus

Knowledge of food & beverage, hospitality media a plus

Excellent communication skills, oral and written (creative writing a must)

Creativity, passion, and enthusiasm 

Social media savvy

Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and multitask, and work well under pressure

Excellent interpersonal skills

Work independently and result oriented

Excellent work ethic and reliability

Responsibilities:

Draft press releases and develop compelling, innovative media pitches 

Consistently support efforts to secure media placements across digital, print, and broadcast outlets. 

Assist in managing clients' day-to-day media and administrative activities, collaborating closely with account managers to execute creative, strategic PR initiatives, while  maintaining strong client relations.
