Social Media Intern

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to manage and grow Stadium Mustard’s online presence across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to tell a compelling story, engage local communities, and support business growth through consistent, professional content.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a marketing/communications or related degree
  • Strong writing, content creation, and visual storytelling skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X
  • Basic skills on Canva, Meta Business Suite & Hootsuite
  • Understanding of social media analytics and engagement strategies
  • Photography/videography skills a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and maintain a social media content calendar
  • Assist with creating, posting, and scheduling content across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and X. Post consistently, i.e. 3-5 times per week per platform
  • Collaborate with leadership to align content with business goals and branding
  • Ensure brand consistency, professionalism, and compliance across all platforms
  • Attend events & visit stadiums/delis/restaurants/stores to capture photos and videos
  • Film, edit, and upload short-form video content
  • Research and support influencer collaborations and partnerships
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages/mentions, and build audience interaction
  • Stay updated on social media trends and pop culture
  • Support campaigns for product launches, holidays, and seasonal promotions
  • Track performance metrics and prepare monthly reports

SCHEDULE & PAY

  • $17/hour
  • Approx 10-12 hours per week. Hybrid position. Flexible around school schedule.
