Kindergarten Paraeducator
Putnam Elementary School is looking for a caring, patient, and energetic Kindergarten Paraeducator to join our team! In this full-time role, you'll be a vital part of our kindergarten classrooms, helping our youngest learners grow and thrive. You'll support students with various learning needs, providing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assistance throughout the school day. We're searching for someone who loves working with young children and is committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. You'll work closely with teachers, assisting with activities, helping with classroom management, and providing individual and small group support. This position requires a great deal of patience, empathy, and the ability to follow directions and adapt to the ever-changing needs of kindergarteners while always maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Putnam Elementary School offers a strong, collaborative culture of caring educators who leverage resources to nurture and challenge our students. POSITION: Paraeducator
- Full-Time: 35 hours per week
LOCATION: Putnam Elementary School
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Required)
- ParaPro Test or equivalent of 2 year's college credits - 60 credits
- Experience working in a school system preferred
START DATE: Immediate Opening
RATE OF PAY: $19.67 - $21.74 per hour * based on contractual requirements
