Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist
This role requires a professional who can handle the full cycle of accounting duties, including accounts, payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliation, monthly financial statement, statements, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is organized, accurate and trustworthy.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintain and overseas day-to-day accounting functions of the business
• Process and reconcile accounts, payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial report reports
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliation
• Monitor and manage inventory records
• Maintains accurate file and financial records in accordance with GAAP
• Enters all expenditures and receivables data into the accounting software: QBDT, QBO, Compeat
• Prepares reports as needed
• Generates all payments/invoices
• Responds to queries to all parties (vendors, customers, staff, CPA, and officer) in a timely fashion
• Assists with lead accountant with project requests as needed
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with associates and external parties
• Provides cost effective vendor retention
Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience of Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Bachelor’s Degree - Strongly Preferred
• CPA is a plus
• Full working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures.
• Previous experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online & Compeat
• Complete literacy with Excel; such as formulization & utilizing links & macros.
• Ability to work within multiple locations, companies at once.
• Effective communication skills, ability to make decisions, multi-task, and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong organizational & analytical skills with the ability to complete work with speed and accuracy.
